Etisalat users do you know that you can buy 400mb with just 50? If no, then follow my little guide below.
The data bundle I'm talking about is originally a daily plan and its calle chat pack, that means its only for chat Apps like, Whatsapp Facebook, 2go etc. But with the help of some VPNS Like, Psiphon or Syphon shield, you can use the data to browse and download. The plan also has a weekly package but it costs 150naira to subscribe for it.
HOW TO SUBSCRIBE FOR DAILY AND WEEKLY PLAN
To subscribe for chat pack daily simply dial *343*5*5#
or send 2 to 343. And to subscribe for the weekly plan, dial *343*5*6# or
send 3 to 343.
After you have subscribed to any of the listed plans, then go to your phone settings
and set your APN as below;
APP SETTINGS
» APN: etisalat
» Proxy: 10.71.170.5 or 127.0.0.1
» Port: 8080
» Save
Then download any of the mentioned VPN above. After downloading, launch the app
and configure the settings as seen below.
» Proxy type: Real Host
» Proxy server: cdn.whatsapp.net
» Real Proxy type: DIRECT
» Real Proxy server: 83.169.211.50
» Real Proxy port: 3128
»Save and click on "tunnel whole
device". Click on the option tab» Region:
select, USA» click
more options
» Check " Connect through an HTTP Pro" box
then select "Use the following settings:"
then set it as:
» Host address: 83.169.211.50
» Port: 3128
Then connect the app an enjoy.
